Frequently asked questions
Does this work on Firefox or Safari?
Not yet — Float It relies on Chrome's Document Picture-in-Picture API, which Firefox and Safari don't support. It's fully tested on Google Chrome, version 116 or newer. It also runs on Microsoft Edge, though Edge's own text-selection toolbar can sometimes appear over Float It's button — we're actively refining this. Support for other Chromium-based browsers (Opera, Brave) is still being verified and isn't guaranteed yet.
What happens to my snippets if I don't renew?
Nothing is deleted. Every snippet you've saved stays exactly where it is — new snippets beyond the free plan's 50-snippet limit just stop saving until you free up space or renew.
Can I move my license to a new computer?
Yes. Release it from your old browser in the extension's Pro panel, or from your Lemon Squeezy order page, then activate it on the new one. Works on up to 3 browsers at a time.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Visit your Lemon Squeezy order page, sign in with the email you used at checkout, and manage or cancel your subscription there. You can also reach it from the ✦ PRO badge inside the extension.
Is my data private?
Your snippets, notes, and settings never leave your device. The only thing sent externally is your license key, to verify Pro status. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
